Daily Fantasy Football Stacking Options for the 2019 NFL Season

Here we are once again for the 2019 NFL season and DFS players are starting to get pumped for another exciting go around in their respective daily fantasy tournaments. With big cash on the line at this time of the year, NFL Fantasy Football brings more players to the table, hence the increase in prizemoney.

I have previously written about stacking which you can view here, but to slightly repeat myself from that article, stacking in tournaments on site like Fanduel and Draftkings, will pay off more often than not, if you do it right and with some research. I would suggest you head to the article linked above for some more detail on stacking in fantasy football.

For now though, I want to provide some examples of stacking for the upcoming 2019 season, this by no means is a complete picture of the options you will have available to you but, it will certainly give you an idea of what to look for in not only these teams, but other teams on the day.

Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Mecole Hardman

Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill will be prime targets for stacking in 2019, but they will also likely be high owned. You need to be a little contrarian to win tournaments on Fanduel, Draftkings and also others like Yahoo Fantasy Sports to be competitive.

Travis Kelce is the best TE in the league and speedster Mecole Hardman was tagged as Hill’s replacement during legal troubles. Now that Tyreek is no longer facing those charges, Hill and Hardman will pair up out wide for KC Chiefs.

LA Chargers

Phillip Rivers, Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon

Whilst I may be a little biased as a huge Phillip Rivers fan, you cannot deny that he had a huge 2018 season and just seems to get better the more he ages.

Gordon is typically a pricy option but also typically, Rivers and Allen aren’t a high owned couple. Pair them all together and if the Chargers are on fire, you could be in a winning position.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger, Juju Smith-Schuster, James Conner

With Antonio Brown and LeVeon Bell out of Pittsburgh, the Steelers have taken a tumble. You can’t rule out Big Ben though, and with Conner displaying some great skills and being able to get to the end zone, along with Juju being the number 1 target after Brown’s exit, you might be surprised what the Steelers deliver.

Cleveland Browns

Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr & Jarvis Landry

We must talk about Cleveland for obvious reasons. They acquired Beckham Jr from NY Giants and with Odell being the highest priced wideout, fantasy players could let him be in place of other less priced targets. This may be especially true if DFS players want to wait and “see” what happens with the new pairing.

The Browns are betting favorites to win the AFC North, so there is a lot of hype about the 2019 performance of the Browns. I think they will be a lot of fun to watch this season.

Bringing it Home

So, there you have it folks, I know it isn’t a huge list of teams and maybe I’ll try and do a 32-team list in the next little while, but for now I really just wanted to put this together as a bit of a starting guide for stacking options in your upcoming daily fantasy tournaments.

If you want a little extra assistance, my suggestion would to invest in a lineup optimizer, you can try Draft Dashboard by going here and getting a trial.
